Boone-Lincoln County Parents Club Recognized During Fall Family Weekend

           Halftime festivities at the WVU - East Carolina game had a hometown feel when Tina Stone, president of the Boone/Lincoln County Chapter of the WVU Parents Club, accepted on behalf of the chapter the award for Most Outstanding In-State Chapter. Stone, who has served as the chapter's president for two years, was presented a banner from National Chair Susan Hardesty and Parents Club Director Sabrina Cave for the club's dedication and hard work in keeping parents involved in their children's academic lives.
