    Claudia Hoyser

Claudia Hoyser is an American country music singer, songwriter, and social influencer with a true DIY spirit. She’s recently supported artists like Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Brantley Gilbert, and more. Her songs—featured in international films and national campaigns including Camping World—have charted on the Music Row Breakout Charts, all before releasing a full album. Claudia first gained recognition in 2017 when an unmixed demo of her song “No Matter What It Costs” made its way to local country radio and earned a spot on the playlist after strong listener response. Since then, she’s garnered over 120 million organic streams on Facebook alone, captivating fans with her nostalgic storytelling and sultry country soul.

Claudia has built a fiercely loyal fanbase through her long-running Facebook series Hoyser Country Monday, averaging 800,000 weekly viewers across 126 episodes—each one featuring a hidden vintage Moka pot that inspired her own line of Hoyser Country coffee and whiskey. She’s also hosted Fired Up Live with Claudia Hoyser, sharing the stage with artists like Rhonda Vincent, Pam Tillis, Deana Carter, and even actor C. Thomas Howell. With over 200 songs written, her debut album Red Light’s Turning Green—which she co-produced—along with singles “Girl In Blue” and “Breathing Smoke” are streaming now. New single “We Grew Together” drops May 23rd, and she’ll be opening for Clint Black this summer!

    WVU Alumni Band

The WVU Alumni Band is an organization comprised of former members of the WVU Band. Established in 1969, the WVU Alumni Band enjoys well-established grass-roots support from WVU alumni across the United States, and throughout the world at-large.

The WVU Alumni Band extends the WVU Marching Band experience beyond the college years by providing social activities for members, publishing a membership directory, electronic mailings, and an informational Website.

While WVU Homecoming Weekend is our pinnacle tradition, the WVU Alumni Band is a year-round organization currently sporting two Pep Band chapters as well as supporting efforts by Emeritus Director Don Wilcox to facilitate a traveling Tour Band.

WVU band alumni have an established record of supporting the organization and the broader institution, whether through volunteer service, season tickets, or financial donations, and this contributes to the vitality and stability of WVU, the WVU Band, and the Alumni Band.
